In response to these employer requirements, the Exodus Learning Solution Business Analytics program, an Ontario College Graduate Certificate, aims to prepare students to explore, comprehend, and potentially influence business planning within organizations when necessary.
Business Analysts have become indispensable assets in virtually every organization, entrusted with the responsibility of leveraging modern technologies, methodologies, and historical data to gain insights and enhance future business processes across the entire enterprise. The program equips students with the industry-specific knowledge required to drive innovation and instigate change within any organizational context. Moreover, the curriculum delves into essential Business Analyst competencies such as project and task planning, statistical analysis, report writing, resource management, eliciting, documenting, and communicating requirements, process modeling and enhancement, project management, and effective business communication, among other critical skills.
Additionally, students will study various topics, including fundamental business analysis models, requirement documentation, and software testing development life cycles and methodologies. The program also encompasses a wide array of industry applications and techniques, ranging from SQL and Salesforce to JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Power BI, Waterfall, Agile Methodologies, Requirements Elicitation, and more.
Admission Requirements
A university degree in business/commerce, mathematics, statistics or another related discipline.
English Language Requirements
Applicants must demonstrate language proficiency by submitting one of the following scores:
- IELTS of 6.5
– or –
IELTS of 6.0 + Completion of EAP-3106 (English for Academic Purposes) during first term of study. - TOEFL iBT 79
-or-
TOEFL 70 + Completion of EAP-3106 (English for Academic Purposes) during first term of study. - Passed Lambton Institute of English placement test
Kindly be aware that the Study Direct Stream (SDS) program exclusively acknowledges IELTS as the valid proficiency score. Additionally, specific requirements tailored to individual countries may also be relevant.
Fulfilling the minimum English proficiency prerequisites does not automatically secure admission. Applicants boasting superior English proficiency scores will receive preferential consideration during the admission evaluation.
It’s essential to note that not all students will meet the criteria to substitute EAP-3106 for the obligatory IELTS or TOEFL test scores.
